Realization of Full Homomorphic Encryption Algorithm Based on FPGA in Power Grid Data Protection

With the surge of data in power grid operation, data protection is facing severe challenges. As a cryptography technology that allows arbitrary calculation on encrypted data, full homomorphic encryption (FHE) provides a new solution for power grid data protection. This study discusses the application of FHE algorithm based on field programmable gate array (FPGA) in power grid data protection, aiming at achieving the dual goals of data privacy protection and efficient processing. Combining the high parallel processing ability of FPGA, FHE algorithm optimizes the key links such as key generation, encryption, decryption and homomorphism operation, and significantly improves the calculation efficiency and resource utilization. The experimental results show that the FHE algorithm implemented by FPGA is significantly superior to the software implementation in encryption throughput, especially when dealing with large data. In addition, the decryption test verifies the correctness of the algorithm, and the homomorphic operation test shows the potential of FPGA parallel processing in improving computational efficiency. The test results of resource occupation and power consumption show that the implementation of the algorithm on FPGA has a good balance between resources and energy consumption. Generally speaking, FHE algorithm based on FPGA provides a high-performance, low-delay and high-security solution for power grid data protection, which has a wide application prospect and research value.
