Secure Interworking Solution of 5G Private Networks with Operators' Public Networks

초록

With the higher requirements for data and business isolation in 5G private networks put forward by vertical industries, operators have deployed some 5G network elements in enterprise parks, which poses challenges to the secure interoperability between operator networks and enterprise private networks. This paper proposes an enhanced architecture that introduces a Secure Interworking Gateway based on the shortcomings of the current 3GPP standard in network interoperability, and analyze and study the key issues and solutions that need to be addressed in disaster recovery and fault bypass after the introduction of Secure Interworking Gateway. The proposed architecture and solutions help to meet the security isolation requirements between 5G private networks and 5G public networks, and provide important references for enhancing of NPN scenarios in 3GPP.
