To ensure secure communication within a new UAV group after topology changes, the updating and distribution of keys for the new group needs to be accomplished in a timely manner. Most of the existing schemes are designed for static groups and suffer from high computational and communication overheads during key configuration, update and distribution. To this end, a new multi-layer distributed key management architecture is proposed, based on which a key injection method based on secret sharing is designed to realize the batch key configuration; and an aggregatable access authentication key management protocol based on certificateless signatures and the Chinese Remainder Theorem is designed, which can complete the updating and distribution of the group key quickly and ensure the security of group communication after topology changes.
