Sadly, it seems to be ignored by people who develop automated vehicles, ChatGPT, sensitive uses of arti- cial intelligence, cryptocurrencies, and many other systems that frequentl appear in this section. Almost everything to- day seems to have dual-use issues, in the sense of having both up-sides and down-sides. I believe you all have certainly got- ten that message. However, it needs to reach more widely, Not only is it widely ignored overall, the notion of ground truth seems to have disappeared when it comes to conspiracy theories and rampant disinformation. ChatGPT is just the latest challenge, as noted by the remarkable urry of RISKS posts in this issue largely negative.
