초록

Steganography is a discipline of hiding secret data in the media that is the carrier, in such a way that outsiders do not know of its presence. The most common way to hide information is to replace the least significant bits of the image pixels with bits of the embedded message. In this work, digital images of different formats were used as media to determine the effect of the image format on the final value of pixels in the altered image. Available steganography solutions that allow embedding of files that are images or text files were used to hide information in images. The purpose of carrying out tests was to determine the different ways of embedding data in the images and the effect of the size of the hidden payload on the amount of change in the pixels intensities.
