초록

This research employs eye-tracking technologies to study the role of scenic windows in spatial sequences in the New Garden of Qinghui Garden, especially in terms of guiding visitors’ gazes. The results indicate that elements such as leaking windows, empty windows, Manchurian-style windows, and doorways in the New Garden of Qinghui Garden can effectively attract visitors’ visual attention and guide their gazes. These elements not only enhance the sense of penetration and depth of space but also cleverly guide visitors to experience and appreciate the predetermined landscape sequence along the main tourist routes. Therefore, this experiment validates the significant impact of windows on visual guidance in the New Garden of Qinghui Garden, providing useful references for landscape design and the creation of spatial sequences.
