CCTV systems are a vital part of today's world in terms of security. In the Philippines, establishments such as public markets use CCTV as a common security measure in securing the safety of their business. Various studies have identified that these surveillance systems are known for their weaknesses, like owners using the default authentication settings or weak passwords. These vulnerabilities allow attackers to gain entry into the surveillance system. This study aims to assess the vulnerabilities of a surveillance system utilized in an open marketplace. To identify the security measures present in the CCTV, we used various exploiting tools. The result of the study has determined that the CCTV systems still lack high-level security measures.
