초록

This paper analyzes the energy consumption of various collaborative protocols for security threats and mobile malware detection. We compare Collaborative Malware Detection Framework with detection approaches by Kim et al., Cheng et al., and Schmidt et al., focusing on energy efficiency. Using Heinzelman et al.’s model, our results show that Collaborative Malware Detection Framework significantly reduces the energy consumption. This analysis is crucial as it provides researchers with a streamlined methodology for calculating the power consumption costs of security protocols, while excluding extraneous factors. The methodology adopted can serve as foundational reference for assessing energy efficiency of communication protocols for energy-constrained wireless networks.
