With the rapid development of information technology, the Hospital Information System (HIS) plays a crucial role in improving the quality and efficiency of medical services. However, the construction and operation of HIS projects are faced with various risks. These risks not only affect the successful delivery of the projects but may also pose threats to the daily operations of hospitals and the medical safety of patients. This paper aims to study the risk management of hospital information system projects. By analyzing the risk characteristics, identification methods, assessment strategies, and countermeasures of HIS projects, it provides a scientific risk management framework for medical institutions to ensure the smooth implementation and stable operation of HIS projects.
