Research Information Security System in Event-Based Security and Reliability Management

Some indicators of the effectiveness management based on security and reliability events of the information security system are analyzed. Network services and applications active monitoring security and reliability events are considered, where the main management tools are the composition of events, their effectiveness indicators used to indicate an incident, and their parameters. Based on the study, a new approach to creating a mathematical model has been developed. Taking into account the features of the model, this paper considers the tasks studying the communication quality indicators of the information security system and assessing their effectiveness in managing based on security and reliability events. Using the model, analytical expressions have been obtained for assessing the performance indicators managing based on security and reliability events hardware and software complexes communication systems.
