Cyber Threat Intelligence is an evidence-based knowledge that encompasses scenarios, mechanisms, metrics, and so on. As cyber threats continue to grow, Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) sharing has become an important strategy for cyber defenders to proactively respond to the increasing number of cyber attacks. The process of automated CTI sharing, as well as the underlying information consumption process, presents new challenges to researchers and practitioners. This paper explores the current state of research and addresses issues related to various aspects of sharing cyber threat intelligence. The paper focuses on both technical and non-technical challenges. In addition, the findings reveal which topics are widely discussed, such as cyber threat intelligence sharing communities, as relevant issues.
