SDN has become a practical solution for overcoming the rigidity of conventional networking systems. In the existing SDN, the scalability issue has been resolved by employing many controllers, but the increased number of controllers results in overloading and excessive load balancing complexity. Hence to overcome the issues, a novel Ideal Controller Optimization Approach is proposed to optimize the number of subordinate controllers along with any appropriate devices linked to the network's control plane adjacently in series, thereby increasing the scalability. Every subordinate Controller is coupled with several connecting devices attached to hosts, but many attacks cause links to fail. Thus, the novel Upheaval Tolerant Technique that combines Micro-Cluster Outlier Detection is proposed to detect malicious behavior and determine the malformation caused by active attacks, thereby reducing attack susceptibility. When one, two, or more links fail, the central Controller of the device switches every host to a different switch connected to a sub-controller. Moreover, any delay in SDN is caused due to some necessary issues, like inaccurate link migration causing the overlapping through any backup link route. So, a novel Maximum Flow Diminutive Route Technique is proposed to allow inactive hosts to be eliminated and make use of the least or diminutive Path with no overlapping and achieve the maximum flow of data. As a result, the proposed system successfully detects DDoS attacks, reducing the delay at 35%, latency is 3.8 ms, and improving throughput to 33%.
