Wireless Optical Communication for Aircraft Passenger Cabin

초록

In this paper, using the lighting system in the aircraft passenger cabin as light sources, the feasibility of applying the optical wireless communication system to the cabin is studied. Research contents includes: system construction, system model, links and channels, coding and modulation. On this basis, four kinds of case simulation experiments are conducted by using the cabin model. Experimental results are proved that the optical wireless communication system has excellent receiving power, low path loss, high channel gain. The power of the light sources in the cabin can conform to the requirements of the system to the power of the light source. The scheme of this system can be invoked as a reference for the aircraft manufacturers to develop the cabin communication equipment.
