Intelligent Management Platform for Power Grid Distribution Stations Based on 5G Technology

Distribution station area refers to the power supply area from the head of a single distribution transformer to the user. In the power system, it is the last link facing the user. Accelerating the intelligent and innovative construction of distribution station areas has become a key task for the development of the power grid. In response to various problems such as weak foundation, limited automation, and complex internal and external environment in the distribution station area, this article constructs an intelligent management platform for the distribution station area with transformers and studies the empowerment of 5 G technology and Internet of Things technology in the construction of the distribution station area. From the perspective of platform design, architecture, and functional implementation, a 5 G technology-based intelligent management platform for the distribution station area is developed. The platform operates well and improves the level of intelligence and management efficiency in the operation process of the distribution station area.
