At present, by utilizing the technical advantages of software-defined networking (SDN), a cloud-network collaborative network platform can be constructed to realize the ability of centralized control and unified resource scheduling, which can significantly improve network management capabilities and task service levels. In order to establish a cloud-network collaborative network of the SDN paradigm, it is necessary to first solve the deployment problem of the SDN controller. Combining the scene characteristics of access network, backbone network and data center cloud in cloud-network collaboration, this paper proposes a controller optimization deployment method based on improved particle swarm algorithm under in-band networking conditions. Considering network delay, reliability index, and minimized communication cost, a reasonable fitness function is designed, and the PSO algorithm is used to solve the model to obtain the optimal deployment solution. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has low computational complexity, and has a good optimization effect on the normalized scores of indicators such as network delay, reliability index, and minimized communication cost. It is suitable for solving the controller deployment problem in the cloud-network collaborative scenario.
