The power system is crucial to the economy, but traditional inspections are inefficient and risky. Therefore, this system combines 5G and drone technology to enhance inspection efficiency and accuracy. The system design includes an image transmission and diagnosis module. The image transmission module utilizes specific chips and 5G modules to achieve efficient video acquisition, encoding, and transmission. The image diagnosis module, through preprocessing and edge detection steps, accurately detects power line faults and uploads the diagnostic results in real-time to the cloud. This system improves inspection efficiency and accuracy, saves labor costs, reduces safety hazards, and has significant economic and social benefits.
