In an era defined by our increasing dependence on networked systems, the resilience and reliability of these networks have emerged as critical considerations. Network outages and disruptions can severely impact businesses, critical infrastructure, and communication. The concept of self-healing networks, underpinned by intelligent protocols, has risen to the forefront of networking technologies. This paper introduces an in-depth exploration of self-healing networks, their capacity to detect and recover from faults autonomously, and the integral role of intelligent protocols. This paper delves into the mechanisms through which intelligent protocols enable autonomous fault detection. It explores real-time monitoring, wherein network conditions are continuously assessed, and anomalies are identified promptly. These anomalies, whether caused by hardware failures, cyberattacks, or unexpected surges in traffic, serve as early warning signals.
