Research on Prediction of Consumer Electronics Sales Based on GA-BP Neural Network

To grasp the development trend of consumer electronics, this article establishes a neural network prediction model optimized by a genetic algorithm based on a traditional BP neural network, and predicts the sales volume of consumer electronics. This article first conducts correlation analysis to select 5 parameters that are closely related to the predicted variables. Then, the BP neural network model and GA-BP neural network model are respectively used to predict the sales of consumer electronics. Finally, the prediction results and accuracy of the two models are analyzed for errors. The example proves that the GA-BP neural network prediction model has good prediction performance, improves the prediction accuracy of the network model, and achieves a more accurate prediction of consumer electronics sales.
