This study looks at how the Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud computing are revolutionising agriculture, specifically in terms of empowering farmers to use electronic devices to monitor and optimise crops and machines. It also looks at how cloud computing provides scalable, affordable IT resources to improve precision agriculture. The paper examines a variety of methods for establishing cloud-based IoT sensor monitoring networks for precision farming. It emphasises the replacement of conventional data centres by cloud computing architecture, which eliminates the necessity for costly IT personnel, hardware, and resources. Additionally, it underscores the importance of cloud computing in promoting collaboration by providing web-based services that are adaptable. According to the investigation, the integration of cloud computing and IoT substantially enhances agricultural monitoring and control, leading to increased productivity and efficiency. In addition, there are obstacles to overcome, including privacy and data security concerns. This review establishes a foundation for future research and advancements in the field of precision agriculture by offering valuable insights into the potential, challenges, and future orientations of IoT implementation.
