초록

This study investigates the potential dangers of cell phone electromagnetic radiation. Consequently, the probability of prolonged exposure to non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation emitted by portable gadgets is on the rise. Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) calculation for 5G networks operating in the sub- 6 GHz frequency band spectrum is required to ensure the application of user safety protocols. In terms of physical interaction, this displays the link between electromagnetic radiation and organic tissue. SAR estimates of a human head model are estimated in this study using three typical mobile antennas capable of working in the 5G low and mid-band frequency spectrum, such as micro-strip patch antenna, slot antennas and inverted-F antennas. SAR is calculated over 1 gram of tissue and 10 grams of tissue for each antenna. The results show that the inverted-F antenna is the safest of the three antennas, with a specific absorption rate estimation of 0.134 W/kg for 10 grams and 0.33 W/kg for 1 gram of head tissues, respectively.
