Comparative Analysis of Advantages and Challenges for 5G and 6G Technologies

This paper presents a comparison between 5G and 6G technologies using data simulations and graphs. The simulations generate time series data for each technology, incorporating signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) values for both 5G and 6G to simulate increased data rates, reduced latency, and improved spectral efficiency. The frequency difference between 5G and 6G signals is accounted for, introducing a distinction between the two. The code utilizes Python's Matplotlib library to highlight the key differences between 5G and 6G. Additionally, specific metrics are included: Data rate for 5G is 100 Megabits per second (Mbps) and 200 Mbps for 6G; Latency for 5G is 10 ms and 5 ms for 6G; Spectral Efficiency for 5G is 1 bit/s/Hz and 2 bit/s/Hz for 6G. In summary, this approach of simulating and visualizing data allows for a detailed analysis of the characteristics of 5G and 6G signals, providing valuable insights for research and technological development in the telecommunications and wireless networking fields.
