With people's constant pursuit of a better life, population problems, food problems and health problems are becoming increasingly prominent, which hastens the development of Plant factory technology. China's Plant factory is developing rapidly, but in terms of technology research and development, it mostly stays at the theoretical research level, lacking highly integrated intelligent systems. This paper has designed and developed a multi-functional, intelligent and low-cost environment precision control system for Plant factory, completed the selection of 5G communication module, combined 5G with the Internet of Things technology by using the characteristics of 5G low delay and high speed, improved the transmission performance of the Internet of Things network, ensured real-time data collection and efficient processing, and conducted joint debugging and testing of system software and hardware. The test results indicate that the system can achieve precise monitoring and control of plant growth, and has good stability, reliability, and applicability.
