Development of Modules for Multiple Paths Finding for Software-Defined Network in MiniNet

초록

The capabilities of software communication network simulators are expanding every year, including for software-defined networks. One of the most frequently used is Mininet, which allows you to simulate the interaction of OpenFlow switches and a SDN controller. At the same time, the controller does not always have the ability to integrate its own algorithms without significantly changing them. The paper presents the development of modules for transforming network topology and a bidirectional path search algorithm for working in the Mininet simulation environment. The use of the proposed solutions allows to reduce the computational load on the controller, thereby increasing its efficiency.
