초록

Nowadays, the volatility of value chains and the growing need for digitization, both for transparency and optimization, force companies to reduce the time and costs of developing Internet of Things (IoT) devices to monitor processes and products in these chains. This work proposes a framework that uses the concepts of modularity and configurability to simplify the implementation and deployment of IoT devices for extracting data along supply chains. Adopting these approaches makes it possible to develop a configuration file and generic firmware that allow IoT nodes to be automatically configured without extensive programming knowledge. The benefits of modularity and configurability are highlighted, allowing customized adjustments based on the requirements of the processes or products being digitized. Technical challenges and strategies to ensure interoperability and practical implementation are discussed. This document provides information on how modular and configurable IoT devices can drive the digitization of value chains, enabling flexibility, efficiency, and adaptability throughout the supply chain. At the end, a first approach to the concepts studied is presented, involving the creation, and testing of some IoT devices.
