This paper mainly expounds the reverse design method of faucet based on PowersShape software, analyzes and summarizes it. The method of non-contact measurement is adopted, and the data is collected by using the readom 1M-16 white light 3D scanner to obtain the 3D point cloud data. The point cloud filtering and mesh simplification fairing are carried out based on the PowerShape software, and the forward and reverse mixed design modeling and 3D deviation comparative analysis are carried out based on the PowerShape software. The results show that: using forward and reverse hybrid design software PowerShape to carry out three-dimensional reverse modeling of faucet can effectively shorten the development cycle and reduce the design cost, and has obvious advantages in improving the development of new faucet products.
