This paper introduces digital forensics highlights, IoT forensics’ distinctive aspects and provides a concise overview of the different levels of digital and IoT forensics. Each level requires specialized techniques and tools to address resource constraints, diverse data sources, legal compliance, and privacy concerns. As digital and IoT technologies evolve, a comprehensive understanding of these levels is essential for conducting effective investigations and upholding cybersecurity and legal standards.
