A New VLSI Algorithm for type IV DCT for an Efficient Implementation of Obfuscation Technique

초록

This paper proposes a new VLSI algorithm for a prime length type IV DCT for an efficient implementation of obfuscation technique. The proposed algorithm is highly regular and modular, presents a low calculation complexity, a high throughput and it can be mapped using a low number of I/O channels. This requires a low bandwidth on linear systolic arrays and using the time-varying obfuscation method, it presents the additional advantage in the field of hardware security. By using the computation structure, which is called pseudo-correlation structure, it can be efficiently implemented on a VLSI chip.
